Malaysia High Commision Ambasodar House

S i n g a p o r e  |  2000

Malaysia is blessed with land and property owned by the government in this small but beautiful Island republic of Singapore . Back in the year 2000 not very far from the botanical gardens of Singapore , a haven of green lung is the location of the lapidated Residence of the High Commissioner of Malaysia, unused for many many years. Set among the Tembusu trees this 7.5 acre site, sloping down towards the Gallop Park Road, gives us a very interesting and challenging opportunity to revitalized a new residence building. Located on the higher corner of the sloping site posed a challenge for the designing architect to negotiate the difference in levels, circulation and access.
