The proposed site is situated along the an-Nile Road; sitting in between the new Nile Bridge and army bridge crossing over the Blue Nile. The proposed design was developed with a few main basic criteria - Modular, Practical, Efficient, Low Maintenance & Enhanced Corporate Image. The main upfront area facing An Nile Road and the magnificent Blue Nile is the office block where an outstanding structure was constructed to house the Petronas country office, White Nile Petroleum Oil Company, and Petronas Marketing Sudan Limited. The office block is only 4-level high and with center courtyards at both wings to allow more natural lighting inside the building. Community Area and amenities are generously provided that includes Muslim place of worship (surau), a clinic, a cafeteria and retail center, gymnasium and playground for the staff of Petronas may create their own community home away from home.
