The design competition for the new headquarters of Institut Kajian dan Pemikiran Strategik Malaysia was undertaken in 2007. Located in Kuala Lumpur, the competition calls for a contemporary office space for the think-tank institute. We proposed office blocks that revolve around a central courtyard, shaded by a glass roof with structures that mimics the order of nature. A central board room is hanging in the middle of the courtyard, stressing its importance and adding a visual interest to the whole scheme.
