The invited design competition was undertaken in 2007. Situated in Algeria, the competition brief calls for abuilding complex for the largest mosque in the continent of Africa. We proposed an integrated series of building, aligned in a formal and green setting. The architectural outlook is a modernized version of intricate Islamic geometry. The organic and sinuous building forms relates to the natural order of nature.
